My Story

Nature and music have been the two constant sources of inspiration throughout my life. As a child, I was fascinated by animals, landscapes, and the endless variety of forms found in the natural world. At the same time, music became a way of experiencing rhythm, emotion, and movement beyond what could be seen. Over the years, I began to recognize a connection between the two. The flowing patterns of a melody and the organic structures found in nature often speak the same language. Both follow rhythms, repetitions, contrasts, and moments of harmony that feel instinctively familiar to us.

This relationship between sound and form continues to shape the way I design. I am drawn to objects with soft, organic silhouettes that feel as natural and effortless as a melody. Many of my visual influences can be found in the design of the mid-twentieth century, when furniture, interiors, graphics, and even automobiles embraced fluid forms and a sense of optimism inspired by nature and the future. These designs demonstrated that functionality and emotion do not have to be separated, they can exist together within a single object.

My work explores the effect that organic forms have on our physical and mental well-being. In a world increasingly dominated by straight lines, concrete, and digital environments, I believe there is value in reintroducing the shapes and patterns that have surrounded us throughout our evolution. Curves, asymmetry, growth, and movement are deeply embedded in the natural world, and I aim to translate these qualities into contemporary objects that feel calming, familiar, and alive.

This exploration has led me to create pieces that incorporate living organisms, particularly plants. By combining sculptural forms with living elements, I seek to strengthen the connection between people and nature within everyday spaces. These pieces are designed not only to serve a function but also to create a relationship—between object and environment, between people and nature, and ultimately between ourselves and the living world around us.

My work is part of an ongoing exploration into the relationship between humans, nature, and design. Through research, experimentation, and making, I continue to investigate how living systems can become an integral part of the objects and spaces we inhabit. I see a future where design does more than serve a practical purpose—where it actively reconnects us with the natural world. Each piece I create is a step toward that vision, bringing organic forms, living elements, and a sense of natural harmony back into our everyday environments.
